Hi, ordered new Rad charger because I lost mine and was pretty sure the battery was dead. Received new charger today and when I plugged into the wall the light on charger is green and not red. Anyone experience this happening before?  Thanks

John Rose

Green on the charger means that it thinks the battery is charged, and the charging cycle is complete.

What do the LEDs on the battery look like when you press the test button?

The key must be inserted and turned to the ON position.
In this photo Red/Grn/Grn/Grn means it's fully charged.

Manuals from older RAD batteries say battery must be turned off to charge.

Key ON was just to check the charge state with the battery's own LEDs, without being hooked up to a charger.
