Hello all! This is my first post and I have learned so much just being here a few days.  I am curious who owns one of the earliest Radrover bikes (2015-2016).  Chime in!

I was VERY fortunate and just picked up a near mint 2016 Radrover with 350 total miles on it for $600.  Seller was asking $900  and I played the waiting game.  I test drove, offered $600 (after seeming mildly interested) and left wishing the seller good luck.  I texted later that day that I would still buy for the $600.  The next morning I was picking up my "new" Radrover.  I have attached a picture; other than some surface rust on the gear sprockets (since removed), the bike looks and drives like new.  The tires have virtually zero wear, and the handlebars and seat look as new.

Since I got such a steal I am installing the Bolton controller/LCD mod and upgrading the brakes to Juin Tech M1 calipers.  The battery is holding charge very well, and given the low mileage it probably has not seen many cycles, so for now the battery will remain until I decide to do a 52v-20ah upgrade.

RadRover68, I have a new never used Bolton Upgrade kit and Juintech M1s. I'll sell for $300.00 if your interested.

Already bought them and they already shipped....wish I posted sooner since I would have saved a pretty penny.  Thank you though.

You got lucky with that one. Mine is a 2020 Rover 5 with 800 miles and I already have electrical issues. RAD was of no use. I emailed asking for parts availability and price but when RAD responded they said nothing on my request for parts and cost. I emailed again and the same thing.

Jim that is too bad and I?m sorry to hear. Any update?

I just installed a rear rack, basket, basket bag, (all from RAD) and the Bolton upgrade controller; this is an entirely new beast! Hydraulic brakes are next.

There's still a lot of the first gens still out there. I have a nice one I bought in 2017 and it's been a great bike. Did the Bolton motor upgrade and the controller/display panel upgrade along with Shimano hydro brakes. I'm getting rid of it as I got the RR 6+ ST. I also swapped tires and tubes as I had upgraded to Maxxis tires and Tannus Armour liners - plus side is new tires/tubes for the old Rover.  Hip problems and the tall top tube forced me to ride a lot less the last few years, but this Step Thru is awesome! I'm really enjoying riding whenever and wherever I want again.

You have the much better looking juggernaut tires without the ugly reflective white wall. Nice!
