I was disappointed to see that the LCD dims when you look at it through polarized sunglasses, but cranking up the backlight level helped. They should be able to make one that has the polarization angle 90o from how it is now, since sunglasses are all polarized to the same angle.

How does your smartphone screen look through your sunglasses?

It is fine in portrait orientation. Almost completely bluish-black in landscape.

[edit]
One thing that does please me is about the LCD Display is that I think that bumping up the speed limit beyond 32 kph in the Sekrit Setup Menu may actually have had an effect. I got up to about 38-39 kph with throttle-only, but I never found a completely level stretch of road to properly try it out.

A bee-youtiful day for a ride. Let's go shopping for a bag of grass seed from the hardware store.

Obligatory bridge picture:

Time for ice cream.

15.69 km, about two hours, rambling whither I pleased.

One of the employees at the hardware store was outside when I was locking it up, saw my bike and asked how I like the electric bike. He had a Rad (Roadster?) and a trike of some other brand. We ended up talking about 15 minutes.
