My RadRunner has a problem. There is no pedal assist and 2 leds ( 0 and 2) are blinking simultaneously. I attached a photo showing the controller with the 2 blinking leds. Does anyone know what this means?

Can you still use the throttle?

Page 43 of the manual for the RadRunner 2 (2021) says:

  • PAS light 0 and 2 flashing / Brake switch fault (or the brake was applied while turning bike on)

Quote... Being a technical guy I thought about an what was going on and concluded that the lever adjustment screw under the [brake] lever must be out of adjustment. I backed off the screw 1 turn ccw and everything worked perfectly.  There is a magnetic limit switch in the lever assembly that activates when you pull the lever cutting off power to the motor.

I'm pretty sure that a fault like that would also prevent you from using the throttle, if it thinks you've applied the brakes.

I just made the experiment of switching on the power (button, not the battery keyswitch) with the brake applied on my RadExpand 5, which has a similar display, and it gave me LEDs 0 and 2 blinking. As soon as I let go of the brake handle it went back to normal with just LED 1 lit steadily. If yours persists in blinking 0 & 2, then maybe it's that magnetic limit switch.
