Inside the motor pic.

Interesting. Is that really G063? PCB is labeled for front motor G020 series 250w.
Copper fill Factor seems quite low for 1000w motor 🤔

For comparison this is my modified 7kw Peak G0602.1000.DC motor.

Tony

Yep, that is packed. Easy to see that motors cam get a bit warm packed in like that.

Holly Molly what are the windings on your motor?

Tony

JTK77, regarding the diagram of the Z916 to L1019  connectors, thank you, Do you know what each coloured wire does ?  We now know what these do from the L1121 that on the G063 motor MackWon posted .

This picture is from Grin. Functions are correct and matches  what is used in Bafang motors G060 & 062 series atlest. Wire colors them selves do not always match. I have worked with number of Z916 and L10 wirings and there are not much but some variation. Best to match known connector PIN function with motor side.
I would just open motor side cover and map continuity between hall and phase pins to connector. Opening cover leaves no mark and should not avoid warranty anyways.

Windings them selves are stock multistrand 15*0.6mm 6T used in G062.1000 motor.
Phase wirings are upgraded 8awg. Motor has welded clutch, water and air cooling, Bluetooth winding temp logging system, reglued rotor magnets etc. Motor connector L10 + MT60 + Higo mini B.

Anyone found a diagram showing blue, yellow, green  wires in the KT controller functions?

Tony, I'm kind of with JTK77 on this, It just seems odd to have a PCB (FM G020250) for a Bafang front hub in a rear hub motor. I know you tested 2 of these motors and got the same results but even the windings look like a front hub motor, I spent some time looking at a lot teardowns of the G060, G062 and never saw the windings like yours, I could be wrong and maybe this is Bafang's new design. I got a copy of the new Bafang 2024 workbook and matched these 2 motor specs, the NEW 550 front and 550 rear, see what you think it's just food for thought. I'm waiting on a plug to arrive so I can do my own testing soon. Also what's interesting is the front hub motor has the throttle listed as N/A.

Tony

Just checked the dimensions of my motor and they are the same as the G063. 1000 WATT H550 rear you posted. If you look up the G063 motor on Bafang website,  you can click on (Dealer Manual) at the bottom which links you to the G062 motor instructions.

I know the G062 and 63 have the same casing and your motor matches both but the new Bafang front motor FM.G0200.250.DM is close and the internals probably fit.
I guess my question is:
1. Why do you have a PCB for your hall sensors that is for a front motor 250w (FM G020.250.DM)? maybe these internals are from a Bafang front motor?
2. Why do your windings look like a 250w front motor and all the 1000w motors I looked at looked like JTK77 G062?.

Is there any other markings inside your motor area that we could reference it to the G063.1000?

Note there is very little grease on the gears.

Slight side question: I?m about to replace my planetary gears, tomorrow.

I got some mobile 28 to grease them.

How much grease should I  CC put on them And where shall I grease?

Like just the teeth sparingly, or everywhere abundantly?

Thanks!

Just on the gears is fine, I have done them this way and looked fine a year later, no need to over do it.

Hi, just wondering if anyone was able to actually find the aforementioned Bafang S307 1000w controller for sale anywhere? I haven't been able to find it online anywhere at all other than the Bafang stats page for the product.
