RW3 3500 miles in and feels sluggish or is it me

Hi there, proud owner of a RW3, used it on 2-10 mile trips for last .. 3500 miles.  The torque never was what I wanted, top speed of 20 is just fine.  But now the acceleration feels even more sluggish.  Does anyone know when one might expect the performance to start rolling off, and how to identify if that is a battery/controller/motor issue?  I'd love to upgrade the motor/etc to get more torque, not sure which way to go.

RW3? Very cool. From what I understand the RW3 was a good bike.
I don't know how one could upgrade the motor to get more torque without just replacing it. Sadly Rad limits their Canadian bikes to peak at 500 watts in order to comply with our watt limits. Some bikes limit their nominal watts to 500 but have their peak watts at 750 or even higher. The limit is set with software in the controller and or display. FWIW our 500 watt Rad motors can and will handle over 1000 watts for short periods of time, like hill climbing for example, so they are very well built.
If you wish to get more torque then perhaps look into Area 13 (A USA company) for a different controller. I know they have it for the RW4 but you would need to contact them to see if they have a plug and play setup for the RW3.
Another option is to get the Eggrider for your bike. It's from the UK (I think. Maybe England? Not sure) It will also give you more torque.
Neither option will require replacing the motor.

I hope this information helps.
