Thinking of upgrading my RadCity Step-Thru 3 to tackle some steeper hills. Anyone have experience with gear changes or motor modifications for better hill climbing performance? What are the pros and cons? Any advice is much appreciated!.

Need more info. Is the issue too hard to pedal the hills you want to climb, or its easy enough to pedal but too slow up the hill.

If it's too hard to pedal up the hills, a smaller front sprocket will make it easier. The opposite for the other, a bigger sprocket will make it harder to pedal but give more top speed. I have nothing to offer on motor mods, other than installing a more powerful one. But more power means less range.
