Hi guys I just bought used radmission eu version, pas and throttle wasn't working so I got it for really cheap price, but I thought it is a problem with controller which I had and was ready to swap, but it seems that this is problem with the motor. Can somebody tell me which bafang motor is used by rad I researched that and my only find is Bafang G020, but I am not sure. Did you ever get this figured out?

Hi everyone, hoping to get some advice from anyone who's dealt with this before.

I recently picked up a RadRover 6+ used and it's throwing Error 21 on startup. The display boots normally through the RAD sequence, then once it hits the speed screen it flips to an oscillating 21. The bike will not assist.

Here's what I've already tested to rule things out:
I unplugged the tail light and the error stayed.
I unplugged both brake cutoff switches and the error stayed.
I swapped in a known good display from another working RadRover 6+ and the error stayed.

One brake-related issue I still have is that only the right brake lever activates the rear brake light. The left lever does not, even though the front brake itself works mechanically. The rear brake is weak and likely needs a bleed, but I understand the hydraulic issue is separate from the electrical brake cutoff.

At this point I'm trying to determine if this is a controller issue, wiring harness issue, or something less common like the motor. I do have another working RR6+ and I'm planning to try swapping components to isolate the fault.

If anyone has had Error 21 persist after ruling out the display, brake switches, and tail light, I'd really appreciate hearing what the actual fix ended up being.

Hi! So i have the exact same symptoms, have to hold down the button, or shuts off, shows 7.9v on a full battery and throttle doesn't work. Did you ever figure out what the issue is? I used a different area13 screen and bike works fine. So it must be the display.

You can get a MUCH BRIGHTER FLASHING RECHARGEABLE REAR LIGHT literally that will you REAL SAFETY even during full summer daylight - my current fav is the Cygolite Hypershot 350 rear fender mounted - I have friends that use the Cyglolite HotRod which mounts on seat tube. My Hypershot is 350 Lumens at Full Setting - the Hotrod at 120 Lumens is bright but not the huge safety factor of my Hypershot.

yep...I'm still riding it and liking it. It runs smoothly for sure. I wonder if I could upgrade the rear light to somethin a bit brighter and a bit bigger? Maybe a silly idea. I do have additional bike lights but it never hurts to have good lights for some winter riding! Any ideas? I didnt see any upgrade lights on the Radpower website. thanks
