Hi,
I think I encountered the same issue and the noise seems similar. When starting to pedal at low speed all is fine, when the speed increases a little bit the noise starts and it sort of feels/sounds like something is touching the tire (although it is not).
I started removing the wheel to inspect the motor when I realised I still have 2 months warranty left, so I reinstalled the wheel and tested the bike again and the problem was gone (for now).
So the only thing I can think of that may have solved the problem is disconnecting the cable to the motor, maybe a faulty contact? Does anyone with knowledge of how the motor works can make sense of this?
