I've looked further into this and found a locking threaded hitch pin.  I've ordered it and we will see if it works.

General Chat / ebike rack
August 14, 2025, 03:14:53 PM
I purchased a Young Electric 2 ebike rack that supports 200lbs.  I like the rack except..... You can't lock the rack to the car.  They made the pin a threaded pin and a standard pin won't go thru the receiver hitch.   It works ok but the rack isn't secure. So you install the hitch onto the receiver and then screw on the threaded hitch pin and put a keeper thru the hole in the pin. Are other racks like this?

RadRunner / Radrunner 2 motor specs.
July 20, 2025, 05:06:30 AM
I'm trying to input the correct specs into my new controller.  Does anybody know the correct specs for a Radrunner 2 750 watt motor?  What is the gear ratio and how many magnets?  I assume the ratio 5 to 1 and has 20 magnets.  I just want to know for sure.

RadRunner / rear taillight
July 18, 2025, 07:25:17 PM
I just upgraded to a 35amp controller.  Everything was working before I installed it.  I don't remember if the taillight is suppose to be on when the key is on.  With the new controller the headlight works and the brake lights work but the taillight doesn't.  Is it suppose to be on?  The headlight turns on and off like it should. The tailight does not come on at all with or without the headlight. It does work when the brakes are applied. Another setting?

Service & Repair / what brake to buy?
June 15, 2025, 06:59:34 AM
I thought this would be easy.  I have a Radrunner 2 ebike.  Easy question: What brake pads do I need?  Semi metallic, organic?  What brand?  Are Tektro 10.11 all the same?  I saw Tektro 10.11 organic but the add said it was for hydraulic brakes but I have cable brakes. Will these work? Lots of questions but maybe only one answer. Thanks for the help!!!!

Service & Repair / What brake pads to buy?

I have a Radrunner 2 that the brake pads look pretty thin.  What type of brake pads are recommended for this bike? It looks like there are several options and should I just get them off of EBAY?
