What does that modification do for you while riding?  (Strictly speaking, it's a centering spring, not a damper... a damper uses fluid or other means to absorb energy and not return it in a rebound like a simple spring does.)

Hi, new here...

So I'm about to pull the trigger on a new Radster Trail, just trying to convince myself... it's between the Radster and the Lectric Xpeak 2.0, and interested in hearing from anybody else who has made this comparison.  I have no way to see either in person, and my only comparison (the only ebike I've ridden) is my wife's Zugo, which is a great bike and fits her great, she's short, but is way too small for me even at my 5'7" height.

So, the comparison:  The Radster is $500 more expensive and has a 15Ah battery instead of the Xpeak's 20Ah battery.  But the Radster seems to be better quality (?) with better components, I like the frame design better, and I like the 3" wide tires vs. the Xpeak's 4" wide tires.  The Radster ships immediately while the Xpeak won't ship for another month.  And there's a forum!
