I found the ElectricAllWheel site, now I need to find the conversion to fit a OEM battery from Rad. I think Grin had that connection. I don't have, or want, a Amazon account but if I need something from there everyone at my work has one. Obviously I'm also trying to avoid a non-UL certified battery if possible.

If I mod something its been extensively tested by me before anyone else uses it. I trust my mods. Now, onto another subject:

Who knows of a easy dual battery mod for the RadRunner 2? I might order a second battery, mount it on the down tube and hopefully find a one-and-done plug and play kit. I'd prefer a kit that "blends" both batteries, not one I have to switch. Does such a thing exist?

My other solution would be to add a RadRunner Plus to my fleet and do the factory dual battery mod. Why the Plus and not the Max? The Plus uses the same main battery as my 2 so I can bring the shark style battery with me on the 2 if needed. My RadRunner 2 will stay with me for the long haul. I totally love its simplicity.

I recently purchased one of the blow-out $999 RadRunners. If I ride it enough and decide to upgrade the new Max is tempting. Also the easy option for dual batteries.

I used "blemished" fold down pegs from Porkchop BMX. At $10 a set it was worth trying. I had to relocate the chain guard and trim the wheel skirt but it worked. I spray bombed them orange. My wife prefers the new peg layout AND I can pedal normal and neither of us has to make a compromise!

So after owning way to many ebikes I've narrowed it down to a Lectric Xpedition for my wife and I to run around on and I purchased a RadRunner 2 for a commuter. The original RadRunner was the first ebike that I truly loved and regretted selling, all the others had faults that I hated. So I took advantage of Rad's "blow-out" sale at $999 and grabbed a RadRunner 2. The following are what swayed me back to RAD:
Don't need or want a App thru my phone.
I don't care for torque sensors.
I have no need to go faster than 20mph.
My commute is 14 miles each way and I have secure parking and a place to charge at work.
Didn't want a folder and don't need suspension forks.
Simple is just better for me.
Reason I originally left RAD:
Thought I wanted bigger wheels. Nope, 20" works for me.
Thought I wanted something faster. Nope, eats the battery faster.
Thought I wanted a belt drive. Nope, HATED the Lectric ONE so much.
Thought more money got more ebike. Nope, I wasted dumb money looking for that "perfect for me" ebike.
RAD was constantly looking like they were going under. So many crazy staff changes and layoffs. Didn't (and STILL doesn't) look good. But they somehow survive another year.
So yeah, I'm back in RAD land again.

If Rad is introducing new models are they going to boost up their call center? I know they did massive layoffs awhile back and some major shifts in management. I loved my RadRunner 1 but didn't replace it with another Rad product when the time came because of all the drama. The new RadWagon 5 looks promising though.

I'm curious as well. I sold my 'Runner and now miss it. I just don't think my wife would like the high passenger pegs on a RadRunner Plus. So I'm holding out till the big reveal! What's your wish list? Mine:  Low passenger pegs, true 750watt motor (or higher?) and possible dual battery option!

Lost the nut and the flat washer that bolts to the frame. Now reduced to $400 FIRM.

Yup, you guessed it! Didn't feel good that morning and didn't want to dig for the trusted snips and grabbed the wrong pair. Live and learn I guess.
