RadWagon / Re: Studded Tires for Radwagon 4
November 18, 2025, 06:16:40 PM
Put on Kenda small block 262 18x2.75s, they fit perfectly. Tried to stud them with gripstud 1000s for bikes (very expensive) ... swing and a miss as the studs wandered into the siping no matter what I did. So for now, good dirt bike tires that won't hold up on ice.

Next up I'm going to try sheet metal screws with washers that don't use the gripstud wide auger and might not wander as much on the Kendas. It just seems like someone has already solved studded tires for the RW4 but I'm coming up empty after plenty of searching. Probably why you don't see them out when there might be ice.

Thanks for any insights - truly!

RadWagon / Studded Tires for Radwagon 4
November 13, 2025, 08:06:22 AM
Great info on an older thread on this subject but didn't seem to resolve how to / whether to add studded tires to radwagon 4. I put on Kenda SB 18x2.75 tires, better but still not enough traction. So I ordered gripstud 1000 studs - here soon. Does anyoeb have experience studding these tires - or a better overall solution to getting traction on ice with the RW4? Thanks for any help!!
