General Chat / Re: Bell won't ring?

From pictures looks like the bell dome is not centered over bottom ring, might be jammed to one side. Also looks like rivet pin is not centered in top of bell dome.

UPDATE. I knew I read it somewhere, so I got out my Tannus installation guide and on page 3 under Tips For Installing Tannus Armour it states (It is common for the Amour to compress over time. It still is providing shock absorption and puncture resistance but will perform better when properly maintained. To minimize compression deflate the tires while not use. This allows the Armour compound to rebound to provide ideal performance.) So does that mean when your not riding your bike, your suppose to let the air out of the tires? I'm sorry but that's not happening. I don't know how everyone else feels, but if I would have known that earlier, I would not have purchased the Armours.

Joel, you wrote you keep it in assist #1, but I imagine you use the throttle quite a bit. Am I right?

Don't waste your money on the Tannus Armor, Get Mr. Tuffy liners and use Flat Out tire sealant.

Joel, That 20-25 mile range you mentioned doesn't seem right to me. I have a 2021 Rad Rover ST and I get 45-50 miles using mostly PAS2. What bike are you riding?  I have no problem at all getting 40 plus miles on a full charge.

Well Rover congratulations, that's assume news. I hope a lot more people have that happen. Sure would be a great stress reliever and a great answer to Rad's battery problem. If they could some how instructed and force that to happen to more batteries.

I haven't seen any videos on the surface mounted, soldered in fuses yet.

I'm wondering if that might be regen wattage showing up for some reason.

RadRover / Re: Inner Tube Reccomendations
August 13, 2022, 05:56:17 AM
Watch out when you open the tire on the wheel. Make sure the rim liner strip is laying flat on the inside of the rim. I had the liner move to one side and was bent up on one side. The liner material is a stiffer material and cut the inner tube. To stop that from happening again, I centered the liner strip and wrapped it with gorilla tape. Now working good

I just ordered 2 Kenda 26x4 tubes from Rugged Nation paid $28.98 plus tax for 2. Kenda tubes where Rad original equipment tubes. They lasted longer than the junk Tannus tubes. After the Tannus tubes failed I installed the Kenda tubes in the Armous and when I switched to FlatOut and Mr. Tuffy liners I used the Kenda tubes again. So I ordered 2 spares from Rugged Nation. Ordered through Walmart.com got deal on 2pk. Good  Luck!

Yes the Area 13 gears should be direct replacement gears for your motor. Electro Bike World has brand new gears for $44.00
