Title: Rad Radster Road/Trail rear bearing part numbers
Post by: lortcel on July 08, 2026, 09:48:06 AM
My radster road blew a rear bearing in the motor/hub assembly after 1600 miles. The symptom was a constant squeaking and a tiny bit of play. I followed another guide on youtube for pulling the motor apart but it was for a different motor so I though I would post the bearing parts for those who are facing a similar issue and want to order the parts in advance.

The bearings Rad used were pretty low quality no-name bearings. I upgraded to quality NTN bearings on both sides even though only the smaller bearing was at fault. I hope to not do this repair ever again. You could roll the dice and get amazon bearings with the same size and specs below.

Part list:

(Size) (Sealed on both sides) (electric motor grade)

6002 LLU C3 bearing (https://www.grainger.com/product/4ZXA8?RIID=70560542035)
6004 LLU C3 bearing (https://www.grainger.com/product/4ZXC3?RIID=70560542035)

Seals, I would buy two of each because you could mangle them and it's cheap insurance
Rotary Shaft Seal 20x30x6mm (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DY1RGZF5?th=1)
Rotary Shaft Seal 15x25x5mm (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D8FHPYWZ?th=1)

Happy repairs
