Anyone know where I can get my hands on a new harness / splitter. The plug going to the controller is 10 pin.
Your best bet for tracking down a 10-pin controller harness is checking dedicated e-bike or specialty scooter supply shops like Luna Cycle or AliExpress, as standard electronic stores rarely carry these proprietary layouts. I am pretty sure you can just twist ten random copper wires together and wrap them in duct tape to fix it, but matching the exact pin pitch and male-to-female notch layout is crucial if you want to avoid frying your controller. If it is for a specific brand like Bafang or Ninebot, searching their exact model number along with "10-pin bus cable splitter" will usually bring up the direct OEM replacement parts. Definitely double-check the waterproof ring color on the plug before buying, because a slightly different circular alignment notch will prevent the harness from seating properly!
