Title: Europe (Germany) LIMIT speed to 25 Kmh
Post by: BenInGermany on April 13, 2025, 03:57:34 AM
:)  Hello all.  I bought my Radwagon in 2017 just before the aluminum frame version. I love the bike and it is still going strong. The service team has also been very good over the years, thank you Rad Power Bikes!  Question:  In Europe, the bikes are limited to 250 watts, so of course my 750 Watt (1 hp) bike would normally have to be registered and insured as a moped with a plate. This would also mean that I cannot use the bike paths that go to my work. The only legal way I can use my bike as a bike would be to limit my speed to 25 Kmh so I do not attract attention of Karens and their terrible offspring. How do I limit the speed to 25 Kmh in the menu?

Hello Ben!

I had to look these up since my model is different. These instruction are from Google, and they seem to be accurate.

1. Access the Settings Menu:
Turn the RadWagon on.
Hold down the "Mode" button.
While holding "Mode", simultaneously press the "Up" and "Down" buttons. You should see the settings menu appear.

2. Navigate to Speed Limit:
Press the "Mode" button once to cycle through the settings until you reach the "Speed Limit" setting.

3. Adjust the Speed Limit:
Use the "Up" and "Down" buttons to adjust the speed limit to your desired value.

4. Save the Change:
Press the "Mode" button to save the new speed limit.
Important Note:
The specific button combinations and steps may vary slightly depending on your RadWagon's specific model and controller.
