Title: Rad Runner Folding Handle Bar Stem Quick-release Front Risers
Post by: RadStevo on June 16, 2022, 07:46:04 AM
Back story: I need the bike to fit in a bike locker. This bike is huge but will fit with the handle bars dropped. Rather than loosening the stem/handle bar hex nuts everyday. I'd like a quick release.

Has anyone had experience with aftermarket stem quick release with the rad runner? What part(s) worked and where did you get it?

Here is an example of what I'm thinking will work if I can find the correct dimensions: https://www.screencast.com/t/9i83g4Fu

Rad Runner Stock Stem
50 mm + 30? (15 mm rise)

Update, I'm going to go with the allen key type since the models above won't work with the stock handle bars. Details in a post thread here: https://www.radowners.com/index.php?topic=705.0

Just yesterday a new quick release stem was made available, and it's much shorter than the one you were looking at. It's at https://www.davidbrandnew.com/store, and the inventor is an acquaintance of mine and a real upright guy.
