Anyone know where to buy aftermarket springs for the Kickstand?
I was riding yesterday and the springs broke. I could only locate one of them.
They are roughly 3.5" in length. The coil part is 2 inches in length and approximately .5" wide.
I want to ride with spares because it the kickstand fails it sucks to walk home with it draging.

i always carry a couple velcro straps and zip ties for similar temporary emergency fixes.
wkindred, just what I was looking for. I wonder why I didn't see this post. It looks like the hook/loop springs on one of the ends bent as opposed to having snapped off.
Why not spend $6 on a set of original spares from Rad Power Bikes?
I received the original springs from Radpower.
However, during the interim, I discovered a good way to keep the kickstand up without the stock springs.
I discover this by accident. I put an elastic cord on the bike to keep tension on the kickstand.
A friend of mine came over and took off on the bike. The kickstand worked with just one elastic cord.
So, I mounted two and it seems to work better than using the springs.

Seems to be a good idea.. For me, one of the springs is broken and the stand is doing okay so far on the 2nd spring. Will use this option if my replacement springs from Rad do not arrive in time..
RW KICKSTAND spring Got two from HOME DEPOT Everbilt #685 447 "5/8 in. X 2-1/2 in. X .072 in."
two springs are in the box plus 2 longer springs that are too long.
Months ago, I bought these as a temporary solution, but they work so well I have not replaced them.
For future reference, RadPower has told me they don't have these in stock but that the specs if I want to find my own are:
Extended Hook Tension Spring, 14mm OD x 55mm Length, 1.5mm wire diameter
They sound almost like the springs that tension a Fender Stratocaster guitar tremolo block (actually, it's vibrato, but Leo Fender insisted on the term "tremolo").

Unfortunately, one end does not curl around, it's just bent at right angles.
[later] Hmm. Trem block springs are "Length from center of eye to hook = 65mm. Spring diameter = 8.5mm. Overall length ? 69.5mm."
Nope. Too long.
The bungee cords might be a good temporary fix, but they might rot out from ultraviolet light. Since you've got two of them, one is bound to break before the other, and the surviving one is probably enough to get by until you replace them both.
