Contact Area13.  buy an aftermarket screen.  you might be able to buy a new screen through them.  I know you can buy a new controller and screen upgrade.  you will get a little more power with a color LED screen.  with the upgraded controller you will have only one screen not 2 as you have now. If they are out of stock, you will be put on a waiting list.

I swapped the RAD seat to a 2023 Trek suspension seat. After nearly 40 km it became unbearable to continue riding. I took off the RAD seat because I wanted to use Treks suspension post. I'll test how the RAD seat with the Trek post next.

Total Distance: 38.5 km
Elev gain: 277 m
Avg speed: 17.7 km/h
Energy used: 4 bars

Hi All,
I own a Rad Plus 6. About two years ago the display went crazy. I called Rad spoke to a representative sent a picture of the display. They agreed there was a problem and sent a replacement. That was only after 329 miles. Now the display failed again will on a trip to Pittsburg. Called Rad again expecting a sorry that failed again "I will send you out a replacement free of charge" NOT just a purchase order for $127.00. Not happy. Has anyone out had the same problem? The replacement failed at 300 mile. Not sure I can afford to ride this bike act that cost per mile.
Thank for any input.
Alan

you should email them.  they can tell you if the Runner 2 isn't compatible.  They are good at responding.

Hi everyone. After doing some online research I was strongly leaning towards choosing a RadRover e bike. My wife and I are lucky enough to live reasonably close to the Rad store in Berkeley Ca. We went in for a test drive and came home with a white RadRover 6+ ST for me and a white Expand 5 for her. We?re in our 60?s and it?s been a while since we?ve done any riding. We are looking forward to taking them camping and exploring the parks.

That would work; you need a 48V power supply.

Hi, is there a way to check the bike display without a battery? I bought the bike missing the battery and don't want to buy a new battery if something else is wrong. Someone told me to hook a DC power supply to it to test with same voltage. Bike is a Rad Rover 6 Plus.
