Is there a preferred cage for the 2019 fat tire bike? Just got my bike and want to buy the correct fitting cage and rear view handlebar end mirror

There is a shop out of Denver who is making some custom parts for Rad Power Bikes. See picture attached - this is pretty slick way to mount your water bottle although also a bit pricey:

Just ordered two white ones for my wife's RadWagon and mine as well.
Thanks!!

Hi, I'm Chad from St. Paul, MN. I Love my 2019 Radrover! I've put about 100 miles on it this past week. [emoji106]

Well I do not have a Spoke issue. I had all the spokes checked and they were all fine. I also had the brakes checked. Unfortunately, I am still having some drive train noise that appears to be coming from the cranks or gears. I am headed back to the shop tomorrow, though the noise is not affecting the performance. 105 miles in 12 days, not too bad.

I'm experiencing the ticking, too. I just got the bike this week and only have 35 miles on it so I was worried. Thanks for the advice. I could not find anything rubbing, so I assume it is spokes! I'll be fixing them tomorrow.

Quote from: schwutke@gmail.com on June 29, 2019, 05:09:55 PMWhat is your concern with the 19 in? As far as I know this is how all bikes are sized with the longer seat tube. I haven't seen an instance where there wasn't a Rad bike that would fit someone. I doubt they will go with larger diameter tires, though if you're looking for stability perhaps the Rover or Mini would be a better option. I'm 6ft and my wife is 5 ft 5 in and we both fit our Wagon without any problems, simply have to adjust the seat height.
I am contemplating to get a RadCity.
I am a little bit concerned about the frame size in 19in, which is the same as the smaller frame, when I compare dimesnions, s.a. reach, wheelbase, etc.. Only Seat post and handlebar height are different.
I would also prefer a bigger wheel diameter, s.a. as a 29er or 27.5. (My previous MTB was agile with a 26" wheel but not very stable at higher speeds.) Any information if increased wheel diameters are planned for the next generation bike?

Hi, new member from Skagit Valley, WA. I'm in my late 60s and my wife and I are thoroughly enjoying our matching 2019 City step-throughs. We've been out of the cycling scene for a long time, and since retiring we tried getting back into it. Unfortunately, there's a steep up-hill section to get back to our house and it sucked all of the fun out of the ride to struggle with that last stretch. That is, until we got the Rad bikes.
We've been hitting the local streets and designated bike trails in order to get comfortable before venturing out into traffic, but we look forward to many trips. We intend to take these with us camping in our small RV so we can explore different areas without needing to tow our car.
Thanks for this forum; I hope it becomes a vibrant community of like-minded people. I'm also in the FB Rad group, but there's no comparison to the benefits one gets from a well-run forum.
