Title: Good upright stand?
Post by: Jammer on September 19, 2020, 03:56:01 PM
Hi all,
Looking at buying the Rad Rover 5 but need a good upright stand to store the bike in my storage locker. Prefer a free standing one but I am open to all ideas. Thanks.

You could remove the front tire easily with the quick release and mount it to a front fork adapter. There are numerous ways to do this if you are handy.

If I understand what you want to do, why not use a pulley from above? Put the hook around the front wheel, pull the rope through the pulley raising the front as the bike becomes vertical. Look at a kayak/canoe lift. They have a brake at the pulley so the rope will not let down until released. https://amzn.to/2EJNLWK
