Purpose of this 4 pin connector?

Does anyone know what is the purpose for this 4 pin square shaped connector? Some kind of diagnostic port? Cable goes to the controller box.

Found it yesterday while doing some maintenance to my RadRhino. It is on really bad place since all (salty ocean) water, mud and dust will go this place and the cover sure is not water proof... So have to keep on eye on it and perhaps cover it better.

As far as I know it is a port for diagnostics. Perhaps you can wrap it in electrical tape and then forget about it  :)

Good idea. :) I tried to find similar plug from internet (eBay etc.) but no luck - perhaps this is a custom plug made only for Rad bikes?

Found this Bafang diagnostic tool: https://hollandbikeshop.com/en-gb/bicycle-parts-electric-bicycle/bafang-e-bike-parts/bafang-tools/bafang-besst-uc-3-0-diagnosis-tool-black-674362/

Cannot tell the size of the connector but could be this that fits to the bike's connector...

That's awesome. Will be helpful when you inevitably open up your own ebike shop  ;)

Thanks for the question and responses. I was wondering the same thing.
