I can reach the bottle when riding, but I have long arms.

Because the front rack is mounted to the headtube rather than the fork, the steering effort is not noticeably effected. It is somewhat strange to see the handlebars and frontwheel turning without the rack turning.

Great photo. As I viewed this, I had the beginings of an idea I call "active passenger regen": a device where the passenger could treadle a small battery charger to extend the range of the Radwagon to partially compensate for the decreased range as a result of the increased vehicle weight added by the passenger.

I have two different carriers for the front of my Radwagon. I made an aluminium front rack which attaches to the factory threaded inserts. I have a flat bottomed oval shaped basket made from elephant grass and goat leather. This was purchased new at a street fair for twenty dollars. It was made in Ghana. I use this basket during dry weather. In the rainy weather, I use a pack cloth, Yamaha brand, motorcycle saddlebag. I bought this new at a thriftstore for three dollars, but the list price in $125. Both containers fit on my front rack. I repositioned the front headlight to mount on the handlebar stem(gooseneck). This puts the headlamp in an improved location and allows it to move with the front wheel. The Rad solution is to mount the headlamp on the rack which is too low in my opinion, and the lamp beam no longer follows the wheel travel, so during the intial part of a turn, the area in front of the bike is not illuminated.

I am planning to do a video walk around, but there are a few more mods in the works before this will happen.

A reuglar L shaped Allen wrench can easily be modified to use for adjusting the inner stationary brake pad. Simply cut or grind down the short leg of the wrench to gain the needed wrench clearance.

Added six Drings per side to the rear running boards as mounting points for lashing loads or cargo net hold downs. Rad's front rads moves the heAdlamp to the rack where it no longer follows the front wheel movement.

I ride a 2018 Radwagon and often carry heavy loads.. I ride in a very hilly coastal area and ride about 95% of the time without using electric power. One of the essential features, for me, is the 21 speed gearset. I try to maintain a constant cadence when I ride. This would not be possible with a seven speed radwagon the way I ride. To me, the reduced gearset on the 2019 Radwagon is not an improvement.

I have ridden my bike, for the last several years with Christmas lights wrapped around the main frame tubes. I use battery powered LED multi-colored sets. One year I rode nine miles with a 10 foot tall noble fir christmas tree lashed to the toptube and rear rack of my bike. I lashed the branches closer to the trunk and had to straddle the tree to pedal. It was awkward riding, but I made it home with me and the tree intact. I had the colored lights on my bike at the time.
