Rad Mini rear rack

Hi All - just got a Rad mini and a Rad mini step thru, love them.

I need to find a suitable rear rack as Rad is out of stock and seems to have been forever 
Has anyone tried a different brand ? I just need to carry a pack. (not the kidz LOL)

I'm in the same boat.  Got a Rad Mini for me a week ago, and a Rad Mini Step Thru for my wife the next day.  I've been checking the Rad website daily waiting for the racks to come back in stock.  In the meantime I ordered one of these for one of the bikes:  https://onway-ebikes.com/products/bike-rear-rack 

Should be here next week some time.   Won't need a tail light extension cable for the Rad Mini, as the cable is plenty long, just needs to be rerouted to the new location.  The Step Thru will need a cable though, and I've got one of those on hand ready to install.   

I'll post a review of the rack once I get it, and will order a second one if the genuine article is still out of stock next week.

Oh, one other thing, since the forum wouldn't let me edit my previous post....

I ordered one of these https://amzn.to/36BuzWs and actually got it a week before the bikes arrived.   I managed to make it work, but then found that it restricted how tightly I could fold the bike, since it sticks out to the sides a significant amount, which is a problem since I have to load these bikes into an Airstream trailer.   Ended up returning the rack.

I ended up getting the "West Biking 110Lb Capacity Almost Universal Adjustable Bike Cargo Rack" through Amazon. Bike folds completely and fits in the hatch of my car with the rack in place. The pannier guards are not needed unless you are actually using panniers. I made four extra legs and used two different support points in the photos below so I could carry a lightweight passenger (50lbs), but it was overkill and I removed the two middle legs. Battery is easy to remove; just lift up and remove from the side, bottom first. Moving the taillight did not require an extension, but you do need to drill out a rivet to remove the reflector mount from the rack.

PS: Use the supplied rubber pads so your seat post does not get marked up.

the rack shown in photos looks VERY solid but our mini's are for younger folks where we need the seats as far down as possible which made the seat-post mount approach less desirable.
