Title: Rad City 5 plus wattage goes to 0 when pedaling
Post by: Jay West on July 29, 2023, 02:36:13 PM
My Rad City 5 Plus has developed a strange phenomenon when pedaling.  What happens is in every revolution of the pedals it cuts out for a millisecond and the wattage goes to zero and then it catches again and on the next and subsequent pedal revolutions it repeats the problem.  This results in a herky jerky ride.  Is this a dead spot in the cadence sensor?  Has anyone experienced this problem?

I'll bet in the disk behind the chainwheel, you will find 11 magnets and  1 hole.

Amazon might be quicker and cheaper to get a 12-magnet PAS disk that would fit, but then I think you'll need a crank puller to get the padal arm out of the way. If you like shortcuts, maybe you could glue a magnet in the hole, if you get the diameter and the polarity right.
