Shipping would make it expensive so ill mention that right off the bat. Finding one locally could prove difficult. That being said if you knocked on my door I would probably sell you mine for 1200. its about 4 months old and has maybe 200 miles. I'm looking at getting Rad Mini.

After looking at the gap of space under the fenders when comparing the stock Kendas and the CST's in various pictures, I noticed the gap is bigger with the CST's. That tells me that they will be slightly narrower which is what I'm looking for. Thinner and a more pavement friendly tread pattern. So I ordered some CST's.

I'll post pix whenever they come.

I like what you did to the stem. How much steer tube is left out the top of the headset to mount the adapter?

I wonder if when cars first came out people had these same discussions... Obviously not online 🤣

Actually when cars first came out it was much much worse. Cars were killing people left and right. Children being the biggest victim. Roads were not originally built for cars. They were for horses, pedestrians, carts and bicycles.

Looks like there is room to elongate or re-drill some holes. The rack is made of really stout aluminum. Not beer can thin. The mounting plate is probably 1/4 inch thick.

Looks like you might have a bit of trouble on the long end.

Another vote for Ergon. You will need to cut the right side for the throttle but that's easily done. Start with a test cut higher than the optimal cut zone for practice.

Those Innovas are interesting. They look like slicks which would be great for the pavement. Any idea if they have puncture protection? I was thinking about getting the CST's from rad since they look better than the Kenda's for road but they may be just as fat.

There is no real standard to the numbers. One 20x3.0 tyre could in reality be slightly wider or skinnier than another 20x3.0 branded tire and you never really know until they are on the rim and aired up.

What's this rule of thumb you learned?

I mounted a real derailleur to solve the issue. Plenty of chain wrap and better tension with 2 pulleys.

Lay an 8 foot 2x4 on the stairs and roll it up?

I have several new Rad Runner parts I swapped out for others so I don't need. All are new take offs.

1)stock seat with seat post
2) hi rise handle bar and stem.
3) Tool Kit
4) head light
5) pedals
6) plastic leg guards for passenger.
7) Chain tensioner

Taking fair offers on any or all. Shipping can be easily arraigned.

RadRunner / Re: RadRunner 1 - Max Climbing Ability

On flat land I routinely spin out the stock 52x16 gear ratio anyway and just ride the throttle so I choose to swap out the front chainring to a 50t and the rear freewheel to a 17t. This gets up serious hills yet still makes for a solid cadence on flatland.

The 2" wide tires made for BMX would indeed be to small for the Rad Runners/Rad Mini wide rims. The sidewall simply isnt tall enough so when a fat 2.0 bmx tire is mounted to a super wide rim the tire profile flattens out. Very unfortunate. I am also on the hunt for a smaller tire with taller side walls. I radical option would be to re-lace skinner rims however that could get expensive very fast.
