RadMini / Re: Large Front mount basket for mini
August 01, 2021, 01:41:55 PM
I purchased [2] 64 gallon totes for both mini's.  Most totes, (50 gal and 64 gallon) have the height of 21 inches. I do not have a front basket but, if your wheel base is 20", the basket should clear the tote.  I went with the 64 gallon as it gave me just a bit more room in front to pad if needed and also found the taper from top to bottom was more square than the 50 gallon tote.  They were 49.00 ea. at Lowes. The wheels also make it easy to move around which may answer your other question about your SUV.  I put both bikes in totes to our van with no problems.  The totes are both 23" wide but have to know that your handle bars will extend down out of the tote taking more real estate in your SUV.

How To Information / Auto off display
July 28, 2021, 05:49:18 PM
Hello all...Is there a way to disable the auto turn off of the display after sitting for a short while? Also, once the display is turned off, is there a setting of sort, to keep the trip odometer from resetting to zero? I have searched on this forum but to no avail find the answer. Is this the norm?
Thanks

Not too sure if this has anything to do with Batteries as much as it has our bikes ordered in May, but came across this article. Shipping from China has been relatively slow for all ebike mfg's since all but 5 brands are made in the US, RAD NOT being one of them.

Rad Power bikes are designed in Seattle, Washington, and manufactured in China.

Thanks for the links....Did you find that the stock handlebars had sufficient space for squeezing in the external bar mounts?

RadMini / Handlebar extensions

Hi All.....Has anyone had success using any kind of extension handlebars on either their Mini ST or Mini4 ?  Contemplating on purchasing this one:
GUB 31.8MM Double Clamp Carbon Fiber Super Long Bike Bicycle Handlebar Extender .
I'm sure many are the same when mounting but question the fit on the Mini's Bars.  Thanks
