You have to turn them on thru the display buttons. And, some of the headlights have a on/off position as well. My 'Runner had one. If this info doesn't help make sure the lights are connected in the looms. My 'Mini ST had the headlight unplugged when I got it (easy fix) and then I accidentally disconnected the rear light when working on the rear wheel. If the lights work the same way as my Runner, when on hold the middle and upper buttons at the same time and the lights (with the icon on the display) will come on.

20x3.0-4.0 is the size I installed on both the 'Runner and the 'Mini ST. Tannus site has them but their sold out. Rad Power website might have them in-stock. Also try a Pedego dealer if you have one in you general area. My Pedego dealer has a wide range in-stock.

Jman, what did you do with the old Big Boats?

Very interesting find! Reminds me of the early 2 speed shifters that got banned in the early days of bmx racing. Please pound some miles on it and do a follow up. And better pictures if you don't mind.

Here's my take on the flat (evil F word) issue.
I ride the ebike further and more often than I've ever ridden my analog bike.
Your'e either on the sidewalk (with trash on it) or the side of the road near the gutter (with trash in it).
Regular bike=10mph. Eboke+21mph. Less time to react to trash.
Dummies like me believed the provided flat protection actually worked. Now I know better.
Ebikes are way heavier than a normal bike.
Bigger/fat ebike tires cover more surface than normal bicycle tires.
I ride thru areas I normally wouldn't ride thru on the ebike, like weird short-cuts and such.
I spend more time riding than checking over the ebike before rides. I need to get better about inspections.
Swerving around trash is harder on a heavier ebike, and moving faster doesn't help.
So I wen't with Tannus. I know nothing is 100% but any piece of mind is worth it to me. Flats on ebikes are horrible, and it's always the rear wheel!

While riding around the 'Mini ST I really liked the Big Boat tires. I might put them on my "Runner when the stock tires wear out. The Big Boats were quieter and seemed smoother as well.

I was considering retro-fitting a moped seat to my 'Runner on the passenger area, mounting the seat to a SHAD motorcycle top case base for removal. But the wife has zero interest riding passenger so that idea went out the window. She also had zero interest in trying the 'Mini ST before turning it over to her sister. My wife has no idea what she's missing.

Battery security is an issue that has been discussed many times here. I think the Save Your Seat clamp will protect the battery on a 'Runner. I don't live in a area where battery theft is a problem, yet. I'm still looking for a disc lock that will fit between my battery and seat clamp. Something easy and quick to remove. I charge my battery inside at work and my house. One of us will figure something out.

One of my wifes other sisters lives in Oakland. I've been thru there when I drove 18 wheelers but never had a chance to visit on my own time. I love LA and still have a bunch of connections thru the lowrider culture and mopeds/motor scooters.

I have a Foldy Lock. I have the slightly longer one that has the strap that goes over the lock while its in the holder. I purchased the "light" version, with the click-in holder, for the Mini ST I purchased for a family member. The Foldy Lock length difference is barely noticeable between the 2, along with the weight difference. I kinda wish I got the light version only for the color choices. But both are good locks and I don't worry about my 'Runner getting bike napped.

Nice review! I swapped my seat and post out ASAP. I got a gently used pogo post from a Pedego and a Sella Royal beach cruiser seat from Wally World. I also got the "upgraded" headlight from Rad. I did a short review of it. And it's interesting you mention the tail light.  I got stopped by a police officer one night and the lady said she could barely see the tail light. It works perfect and there is nothing blocking it, so I might try to find a upgrade soon. Lets see, what else. I got a SE Racing bmx seat clamp and use a Hex-Lox to prevent seat theft. Its a big problem in my area. Oh, and I did the upgraded display because everyone at work ask questions I couldn't answer with the nice little simple stock screen.

I ordered the "new/redesigned" Cascade Topeak base and a brand new Topeak folding basket didn't lock into the Cascade base. I had to hacksaw a section of the clip off the Topeak folding basket. So be aware of this if you go this route.

I'm working on getting more real world riding on the Tannus liners. My work moved every ones hours around because of Covid, so if I pedal to work I'll be getting home close to midnight. No thanks. To many crazies and dummies out during those hours. Weird what a 2 hour difference makes at night. But my boss is trying to get us back to our normal hours so as soon as that happens I'll start pounding the miles on the 'Runner with the Tannus liners.

I've ridden bicycles all my life, and mopeds, scooters and motorcycles as well. It's part of my DNA to avoid broken glass and other flat threats. I personally don't wanna test the Tannus liners on purpose. But this is my take on them since I use them. Any of you have a beater bmx/runabout bike as a kid? One you just rode the heck out of? Did you ever do the double tire trick? You take a worn out tire and put it inside the new tire to reduce flat risk. I did it with a old beach cruiser and never got a flat. The double tire mod made it a bit heaver to pedal but I was younger so I got used to it. But even then I still tried my best to avoid flat hazards. So the Tannus liners just seem like a modern version of that old double tire trick.

That makes me want a dog! My cats are to stupid for that trailer.

So I was trying to find a way to recycle my old grocery bag holder from my beach cruiser days. But the clips won't fit on the Rad racks because their to thick. So I stumbled upon these Knuckle things on etsy. This is a review for a product I have yet to install. Yes, very helpful. But I received them this Sunday and intend to get them installed within the next week. I ordered 2, one for my 'Runner rack and another for the 'Mini Rad in-house brand rack. I have my grocery bag holder I want to recycle and the lady I got the 'Mini for has a Sunlite bag she would like to use. I have to cut a section out of my SHAD motorcycle trunk base to make the Knuckle fit my 'Runner. But as soon as I get them installed I'll put them (Knuckles) thru my crazy riding (I joy ride the 'Mini when I visit!). Keep everyone updated....
