Those mounts used to be hard to find. Nice to see them back! One thing to note. At some point someone at Topeak decided to change the mounting tracks. So my old, still mint basket will not fit in the new mount. As long as you buy everything together you'll be fine.

I have 2 ebike shops in my area. I buy my accessories from them and have them do the service work as well. I have a Pedego mirror on my Rad! But anyways, both shops offered to service it when the time comes with no attitude. The one shop owner was giving me friendly grief, as we get along pretty good, but when its all said and done its another ebike on the road and that's whats important. If one of the ebike shops sold what I wanted I would have purchased it thru them but not many ebikes out there by the "major" brands like the RadRunner. But neither shop has the proprietary software to check the computer should something come up but both shops have experience working with different brands and have great trouble shooting skills, so I'm not worrying to much. Plus Rad still backs their products.

I just received my battery terminal covers today from that person on etsy. Have yet to use them but they are well made. Another weird thing I do. I cover my seat with a cheap shower cap when the bike is sitting. I hate tatty seats. But I purchased a Seatylock (by Foldylock) and really like it. Super easy to use. I know its not Abus level 10 security but I don't need level 10 security. I wanted easy and compact.

I had NOS orange Welgo pedals from a bmx bike shop sitting around. I put them on my RadRunner. Look really good, and I also think they are the same ones Rad now sells.

Norfolk, VA is trying to include bicycle lanes. But the lanes end and your back on your own. Better than nothing. I like the list format also, so:

My commute is 14 miles one way. I slip on the sidewalk when needed. I jump off if someone is on it.
I go from Norfolk to Virginia Beach for work. Both cities are hit (20%) and miss (80%) on bike lanes.
All of my stops have bike racks except the Post Office.
My work is 100% secure so I don't lock it there.
I have 2 horrible intersections that I dread when I get to them.
I rarely see other bicycle commuters but I work from 2-10:30PM.
I charge my battery at work and will bring it in the building if needed, but my parking spot is pretty dry as is.
Mirrors are my friend! Need to know whats behind me.
I carry a mace wrist wrap and a boaters air horn in my pocket.
I sometimes mark terrible bumps or holes with hot pink spray paint. Some roads need repair and dangerous.

Just saying hey and a little info on me. First, I love motor scooters. Always owned one even when I had motorcycles. Also always owned bicycles. Have a swing bike for my acoustic bicycle. I now also have a RadRunner 1. Bought it this year to replace a Pedego CityCommuter. Wanted something with 20" wheels. I'm picture dumb and still have a OLD phone but my Runner has a SHAD motorcycle trunk mounted to the back. It looks almost factory. My commute is 14 miles each way and I try to ride the Runner as much as possible. I get exercise (use level 3 PAS) and I find riding very relaxing. Currently have around 200 on the ebike. I hope to contribute something useful to the site. Thanks for having me!
