To me riding my e-bike is like building a rocket. Any additional weight is not a good thing. But I respect that others have different needs.

The expensive way is to attach a hard case like a Pelican on top of the rear rack. Or see if a 3 inch PVC pipe will fit underneath the rear rack. Put an end cap on one end  and use a long removable shackle padlock on the other end.

A similar Post suggests checking a light switch on the headlights.
Logic tells me to concentrate on the headlights since that's the only thing that you are having a problem.

I am used to it. They go hand in hand with community boards because there's not much restrictions to become a member. I have seen some boards that require a grace period before they are allowed to post to prevent ad soliciting. And some use moderators that deletes them.

Quote from: Ddaybc on June 11, 2024, 01:44:29 PMI would like to do something similar to my RW4 but,,,, oh well. -)

It was an impulse buy because I had a $50 gift card. I think the RAD store has a better deal and I think it fits your RW

I am beginning to see why members were using higher psi. Now that I am getting more mileage with my City. I am riding at 40F/45R and I think I need to bump up more.

I liked the pattern on that Continental tire.

Rad Modifications / ABUS Pro Amparo 4750

Added an ABUS frame lock on my City5+. It fits nicely on the frame. I had to move the brake light cable a little bit. It's as heavy as a regular U-lock.

Area13ebikes & Electrobikeworld are the two most talked about sites for upgrades. There are members here who swears by it.

I think I read a similar problem but I cannot remember the old post. It might be unfair for me to point the problem to the controller since I cannot find that old post.

I suggest contacting the US site https://radpowerbikes.pxf.io/Wq1EzZ . They probably can tell you the nearest support for your location.

How much miles/km have you done before you started having brakes problems? I know everyone's riding is different but I am interested how long(km) your brake pads lasted.

When I took my City for the first time. I pumped 30 psi because 35 seemed excessive but I did not even got a block when I noticed that I can feel all the cracks on the road and sidewalks. It felt like I am going to damage the wheel. So I filled it to 35 and it feels better.

Then I stumbled across an old post and relieved that some riders were using 50. I was afraid that if I pumped more than 45 that I would blow my tires. I feel better now that I know that the tires can handle such high pressure.

How are you riding yours?

General Chat / Re: RAD CITY 5+ HANDLEBARS

Quote from: seand1109 on June 02, 2024, 09:32:31 AMI am still looking for the high rise handle bars and a banana seat
Have you tried Amazon? I used "banana seat" and "lowrider handlebars" on search and got a hit. You may have to check the diameter though. How about the Radrunner handlebars?

I like how clean looking your handlebar wiring are.

Quote from: inoxa on May 29, 2024, 06:55:49 AMYou are right.  I had forgotten the original screen didn't allow one to make many changes.  I had upgraded my controller which boosted my performance and allowed me to make individual settings.
My bad, you may have mistaken me to the original poster. I do not have an RR2. I ride a City5+ ST.

My question was in general. I'm still new at this and still fumbling my way around the features of the bike. Sorry for the misunderstanding

Quote from: inoxa on May 28, 2024, 01:01:50 PMhave you checked the setting?
Where can I find these settings? That's something I would be interested in.
The only settings I see was the UI Remote for changing the clock/odometer, km/mi, energy consumption etc. that's it. Very minimal.

UPDATE: I forgot to mention that I have read a few topics about unlocking the 500W limitations. Maybe that's the settings your are referring to.

I was referring to the User Manual. Is there a separate user guide?

Have you tried checking the brakes and motor cutoff switches?
