Title: Front tire rubbing on radrover
Post by: Jc75754 on June 28, 2020, 09:19:48 AM
Just received my rad rover 5 and have about 15 miles on it and noticed that the brake side of the tire had rubbed on what appears to be the inside of the fork.

I checked the psi and just checked to see if I could identify where it was rubbing and no touching is occurring although the side tolerances are rather tight from forks to tire.

Does anyone have any idea what the issue could be? Any suggestions are appreciated as rad is overwhelmed with ordered and customer support emails take quite a long time.

Only thing I can think of is that the tire was not seated properly on the skewer. Make sure it is plenty tight, when you push it closed it should make an imprint on your hand.

On my mini the front tire had a rubbing sound! It turned out to be the rubber gasket on the side of the hub.
