RadWagon 4 Running Boards and Deckpad Delivery

I received my two RadWagon 4s. Very nice bikes. I've been riding mine almost daily to run errands or just for fun.

Has anyone received their Running Boards and Deckpad?

I received an email on October 12 stating, "We wanted to let you know that a manufacturing delay is affecting delivery of the RadWagon Running Boards and Deckpad you ordered. We don't currently have an estimate as to when we'll be able to ship them, but we'll send you the shipping information when we have it."

I'm still looking for tubes and tires... I've been checking their site every evening.

My brother who has a RadWagon 4 said that Rad has no estimated date on receiving the running boards.

I didn't want to wait for running boards and the deckpad, so I ordered the Rad Power passenger pegs (in stock!) and then got the Mini Magic Carpet seatpad from Xtracycle. My son is now traveling in style and comfort on my RadWagon!

The quality seems good. We don't have a ton of miles on it yet, but I think it will last a long time. My passenger is quite happy and comfortable.

Also, it attaches (and detaches) easily with velcro straps that work fine with the Rad tubing.

EDIT: I just received an email stating that two running board orders shipped.

I received one of my running board orders and am still waiting on my second set of running boards to ship.

I installed the running boards on the bike without the YEPP seats installed and the twins prefer to ride on that now. So, I am probably going to sell the YEPP seats next Spring -- or install one on each bike.
