General Chat / Bike Stolen/Recovered N Van BC
December 29, 2022, 03:36:30 PM
I woke up this morning to no bike. It was stolen.I looked at my phone. Airtag placed it in the police evidence lock up 3 miles away.ike recovered in good shape. N lock, Airtag, pin head tire bolts kept it in one piece (put a real bolt on seat quick release). I rode it home 1.5 hrs after discovering it was gone. got it from cops who confirmed the location and before the Project 925 email was filed. Thank you to RCMP !

RadRunner / Pinhead
December 18, 2022, 04:49:53 PM
I got myself the skewer and rear wheel pinhead upgrade- I installed them very quickly. The RR2 sizes are:

Rear nuts order 12mm

Front skewer lock - 168mm

Replaced my quilt release with a bolt. I?m ok with the stock seat.

Discount code: DEC2022 got me 25% off.

I am not guessing: I did it. Radrunner 2 sizes only.

In high crime areas or far away from home it comes with me.

One paneer is fine for commuting. Make sure there is room for your battery.

If I need a basket I zip tie a produce basket I picked up from a produce store (asked first) - price is pennies per use - the cost of zip ties - take it off when not in use.

cleaning mitt from the dollar store. Make your own formula - 1 cup Isopropyl - pinch baking soda - a couple squirts of orange degreaser - couple squirts  palmolive - 1 cup water - does it for me - recycle a spray bottle and wipe takes 30 seconds - don't power wash a bike - I use a toilet bowel scrubber from dollar store to clean the treads
