Just my humble opinion but other than a flat tire? People power pedal it home. By the way common Sense dictates always carry a little box for roadside repairs. Learn how to take your bike apart and put it together. Stay close to known areas that have access to bathrooms and services. I like the other man's comment about being aware of biking outside of civilization. Again common Sense would dictate satellite cell phones emergency gear and emergency water and food store or par for the course. My bike is like a mini version of my own home in that sense. For someone with autoimmune deficiencies and medications it becomes even more vital to carry some extra medication for emergencies. Other than that I'll be able to ride my bike soon since the safety recall tires are arriving and I have a pending appointment to have the bike repaired. I bought the red wagon for back in August and haven't ridden it much since less than 50 miles.. just saying.

RadWagon / Safety Notice regarding your RadWagon 4

Update January 2023 I was sent two emails from the company's customer service. The first one is announcing the shipping of the replacement tire and tubes which I should have here in the next day or two. And the second email that I got just this morning direct me to a local bike shop for free warranty appointment. I am down here in sunny Central Florida between Mickey mouse and the buccaneers. My assigned bike repair shop looks like it's a mobile service and so that's good. Will update again in the next week or so to let you know. However like the previous post I have not been riding this bike since the safety recall went out. So I too am looking forward to being able to ride a bike I've been paying for for nearly 6 months. Hang in there kids it looks like the company is making good on their promise to take care of this concern.

Update January 2023. The company has notified me and shipped the repair kit which covers the safety concern from last year. The repair kit including the two new tires tubes and so on have been shipped to me and I should have them by the end of this week. They will probably refer me to a local bike repair shop and I'll take it in and let them replace the tires. Then I can finally start writing the bike!

I was recently notified by the company that my replacement tires on the safety issue are going to be scheduled in early 2023. I've had to keep off the bike but it's good to know that early next year I'll have the new tires put on by the company at a local repair shop. Thanks for the heads up. By the way last time I checked the website you could actually buy the tubes but the tires are not available in this special size. I don't mind waiting because I'm making monthly payments and I plan to have this bike for 5 years or more. Other than this issue it's a fantastic e-bike.

Don't hold your breath..I responded to your other posts and of course I noticed your tag and numerous different posts regarding this concern but you were one of the lucky ones who had purchased replacement tires before this whole thing happened from what I can remember

If the charger shows green before during and after attempting to charge then you probably have a blown 5A fuse. Those batteries have two fuses a 5A and a 40a turn the battery upside down and there were two little ports near the top using awl or a little screwdriver to open the fuse port and check your fuses especially the 5A. Once you're sure the fuses are good it should charge. Hope this helps keep me in touch

Single taps on the power button will scroll you through the menu on the display. At one point it will highlight the total mileage and the next single click on the power button will show your trip odometer. Hope this helps!

The safety hold notice was lifted a week ago if you have tires that are smooth side walls. Anyone that has tires with ridged side walls have been affected and are being sent new tires and tubes by the company. Go to the company's website and a banner at the top of each web page has a link to the safety notice and further directions if your tire sidewalls are smooth and not ribbed then you're cleared to ride your bike. Check the company's website for this safety notice banner at the top of each page. Hope this helps!

Group Rides / Re: Lakeland Florida Region

Hi how are you? Thanks for reaching out. I just got my rw4 one month ago and my bike was part of the safety hold do not ride for the last 2 weeks. However my tires were not part of the safety hold as it turns out so now I can ride the bike without worry. I just started this post in the hopes of finding some people to ride with. I am located south of Lakeland in Mulberry which is quite a distance from Land o Lakes as it turns out. As of now it's just me and I was hoping to find some people in the Lakeland area. Do you have any people you ride with up in Land o Lakes? Maybe one weekend we can meet halfway Ybor City or something like that..

RadWagon / Re: Inner tube & tire alternatives for RW4
« on: September 09, 2022, 01:48:10 AM »
Update on my post from last week to you sir. Judging by the pictures you posted your tires had the ribbed sidewall and subsequently are definitely part of the safety recall safety notice do not ride sent by the company on the 31st of August. I'll bet you got the security safety notice do not ride email also since I posted. The company is offering replacement parts and compensation for a license local bike mechanic to replace these tires but the safety notice response with the fix notes it might take two to three months for them to send the parts. Of course these are W-4 tires and tubes are out of stock on the company website and as you know impossible to find other than through this company. I certainly hope at this point you have called the company to make sure you're part of this safety notice recall and fix. However this blog post will now be invaluable to people like me who have the approved tire which is a smooth sidewall and not ribbed. As you can imagine I have every type of tire remedy except for the correct tires and tube! Fix a flat slime tannis ect  all the best and I'm grateful that you and your family are in good health and there was not a major catastrophe as a result of your dilemma. All the best thank you for your blog post here
