If you are asking if it is safe to do it - if you can handle the extra 3-4 mph, yes.

I think you would get a better test on a smooth paved surface - unless you are taking the EXACT same track each time on the gravel one.

Uh, it's in the city, so chances are at the bottom of the hill, or somewhere in the middle - there will be a stop.  Blowing through lights and signs really isn't an option.

No regen on them (wish there was as there are a lot of hills where I am and I could save brake pads and increase the range).  My RR6+ feels the same way without any PA, harder to pedal on its own than I anticipated, but it is a very heavy bike with big tires.

Mine (RR6+) make a lot of noise, but only if I have to really clamp down on them.  Then it sounds like the fluted rotor edges are hitting something and the more pressure the louder it gets.  Doing the caliper alignment didn't change it and I don't know the cause.  Normally I can hear a scraping sound with light to moderate pressure.

I'd say it is the tires.  I like the chunky look of the 4-inch ones but think I would have gone with a narrower one if I had to do it over.  Nearly all my riding is on pavement.  The knobs and remaining mold spikes create rolling resistance even with the pressure at the high end.  Going down a hill at 30 mph it sounds like a Stuka in a dive.

If at all possible, try one before you buy one.  500 watts is equal to PA 3-ish on the US model and I'd be wanting more.  Remember to add 80 lbs. for the bike, so you and it are hauling 310 lbs. up those hills, on fat tires.  I also live in a hilly area, am within 10 lbs. of you, and rode a lot (on much lighter bikes).   It sounds like there could be a lucrative market for bringing 750 watt bikes across the border!

Not a problem at all (assuming you have the clearance in the bed - you didn't say whether the trailer is a fifth-wheel).  If there is room, make a simple rack out of 2X4s to keep the tires from slipping sideways and use lightweight straps to hold the bikes upright.  At eighty pounds they don't need to be heavy ratcheting ones; I've used fairly light ones with a motorcycle with no problem.  With both wheels held in place you can get by with straps to the handlebars only, but you can add one to the seat post if makes you more comfortable.

Really nothing different about it compared to a regular bike, just a lot heavier getting it into the vehicle so two persons is helpful.  With a lot of wires and the displays there is a greater potential for damaging something if you slide it around.  I've put mine in the back of my Grand Cherokee with no problems but if I did it often I'd look at getting a hitch carrier.

I'm not saying Rad didn't change the ability to do this but be sure you are following the instructions exactly. You need to be in the advanced settings first in order to be able to access the 'secret settings'. I have a RR+ that was delivered this month I can check on this week and report back.

I was able to change the top assist speed on my November-delivered RR6+.  All is right with the world, no more sudden drag on the pedals when I hit twenty; the extra five will be very useful.

My RadRover 6+ will not allow a change in speed, just flashes "1d" and goes back to the previous screen.  When did they stop allowing the software change?

It kind of depends on strength level and whether she likes a high cadence or slow pedaling.  I find on my RR6+ I can keep it in 4th gear and PA3 for the widest range of situations, dropping to PA2 if there is no pedal resistance, or up to 5th to run up against the 20mph limit.  She might need to add a little throttle from very slow speed to get moving.  That still gives decent range
