Huge lock proved a challenge to mount on the bike.

This arrangement appears to work well.

That is a hell of a lock and creative mounting solution. Here's what I did for my ABUS Granit u-lock and cable - this was the only place on the entire bike that would work (except for the mirrored location on the other side of the basket):
