Title: Hardware for front rack light mount?
Post by: radbeachmom on June 12, 2020, 04:11:47 PM
Hi! I'm new to the forum. I have a RadRunner that I bought for my teen daughter's Summer job commute and I ordered a RadWagon 4 for Fall delivery. I am trying to install the front rack on the RadRunner and have hit a snag. The light mount that came with the rack has smaller holes than the original light mount. The bolt won't fit through and I'm not able to enlarge the holes. Has anyone else experienced this?

It has been a bit since I tested out the front rack but I believe I ended up just using the old mount as opposed to the one that came with the light. Not sure if this helps you though. You should have received everything you need.

here's some info from their installation guide that I thank may help - but I think you may be right, too small a hole for that nut:

"Check if the headlight bracket is compatible with the front rack.

For 2020 and newer models, RadRunner, and RadMission models: The headlight bracket installed on your bike is compatible with the front rack. The additional bracket included with the front rack accessory is not necessary for installation.

For 2019 and earlier models: The headlight bracket is not compatible with the front rack. Follow the steps below to install the headlight on the compatible bracket."
