My daughters RR6 battery did the same thing over last winter. As hers was still under warranty, they replaced the battery, all good now.

Essentially the same for me. Charged the thing just once, stored in the bike indoors without temperature changes and now (it's fully discharged says the bike) no lights or signs of life when attempting to charge it a second time.

Any help would be appreciated!

I have a legacy (2019 Radwagon 3) caboose available.  My kid has grown out of it and I have the deckhand installed instead now.  Just looking to get it out of my garage and give it a new home.

I'm in Massachusetts.  Local pickup would be ideal, but if you're willing to pay shipping, we can probably work that out.

I like the tighter steering and the ability to steer from the rear when pushing or pulling it into bike a bike rack or around the garage. I can lift it one handed off the center stand move it easily. It also compliments my seat which is the result of my attempt at upholstery.

RadRover / Rover 6 Plus replacement brake...
Last post by seand1109 - June 21, 2025, 09:02:19 AM
Been looking for replacement brakes because the Nutt front brake is leaking fluid. I called Seattle store and was told the front brake system, complete unit from caliber to handle, is 900cm and the rear is 1650. Not sure that is correct.

I have been on line shopping and have found a 900cm but not a 1650. I also stopped at a couple of bike stores but nothing on hand and to order they want to see the bike. Any suggestions? It the rear the correct length? If the hydraulic line is too long, will it still work?

Any brake manufacture that has the proper brakes will work.

I have the exactly the same problem. I have the EU version of the bike. Have tried al the suggestions, nothing is the solution.

Does anybody know how to enter the service menu for the RadRhino 6 plus = radrover 6+ in the US.

Service & Repair / Re: Weird noise - followed by ...
Last post by tinus - June 19, 2025, 12:15:55 PM
Hi,

I think I encountered the same issue and the noise seems similar. When starting to pedal at low speed all is fine, when the speed increases a little bit the noise starts and it sort of feels/sounds like something is touching the tire (although it is not).

I started removing the wheel to inspect the motor when I realised I still have 2 months warranty left, so I reinstalled the wheel and tested the bike again and the problem was gone (for now).

So the only thing I can think of that may have solved the problem is disconnecting the cable to the motor, maybe a faulty contact? Does anyone with knowledge of how the motor works can make sense of this?

Service & Repair / RW4 / assistance doesn't stop ...
Last post by jeremie_lannion - June 19, 2025, 08:23:26 AM
Hi everyone,

When I stop pedaling, the electric assistance doesn't stop immediately. This creates a big shock in the transmission, and sometimes causes the bike to derail!

Does anyone know this issue?

Thanks

Service & Repair / Motor and controller failed at...
Last post by BKRacer-26 - June 18, 2025, 07:24:16 PM
I've had my Radrunner Plus for two years and 5000 miles.  Two weeks ago the motor started making funny noises, then before I could take it in to a shop, it failed.

The shop is quoting me $1507 for repairs (see attachment)!  That's almost the price of a new Radrunner Plus!  Of special note is the $250 in labor alone for installing the controller...is installing the controller really that complicated?  Or are these people ripping me off?

Second question: Is it normal for an e-bike to be ready for the junkyard after only 5000 miles?  It's not like I've been abusing it:
1. I've used it solely for commuting to work
2. Commute is pan flat except for one underpass where I descend about 15 feet, then ascend.
3. My total load is about 260 lbs.
4. Weather is mild year-round (central California coast)
5. I always ride with power-assist 5 but never use the throttle except for the first 2-3 seconds coming out of a stop.
6. I never ride in the rain or leave the bike out in the rain

If I have to junk it I'm definitely never buying a Radpower product again.

I am thinking of buying a Yepp seat and not sure if this version is compatible with the 2019, Radwagon I recently purchased. Any insights would be appreciated!
