Seems like the BMS could have killed your battery.

General Chat / Re: Inside the Rad battery and BMS

As suspected, the BMS is the likely culprit behind people's dead batteries when they leave them for extended periods of time(if the key switch is left in the on position).

I have noticed a clunk from the motor on my Rad Mini step Thru.  Not sure what causes it but it happens even without pedaling.

General Chat / Re: Tires on new mini

I immediately removed the street tires on my Mini ST and swapped them for K-Rads.  The noise doesn't bother me but I need the traction for trails.

I custom made the handlebars out of PVC. Backrest is like this one https://amzn.to/3w2M8cd and the seat is a Radrunner passenger seat.  https://www.radowners.com/index.php?topic=890.msg4472#msg4472

Here is our collection of Rad bikes that we have been having a blast with. Two Radrunners and a Rad Mini Step Thru.

Mr. tuffys and slime works for me so far.

Here is my solution to the lack of backrest and handlebars offered by Rad for the Radrunner passenger package.  It's a bit crude but it works and didn't require any metal working.  The handlebar setup is made from PVC pipe and is wrapped in black ductape just to change the color from white to black.  The backrest is a piece from a passenger kit on Amazon and is bolted to a T bracket which is then Ziptied to the bike.

I used this on my Radrunner and Radmini step thru with no issues.  I actually like the fact that it blocks the battery from being removed as another piece of security.

I have purchased the below for my Radrunner, They should work for you.  You have to trim the liners to size.

I've just found out that the person who claimed that Rad will sell the fork was the person that purchased it from Rad themselves. He thinks they sold it to him because he owns a Radrunner Plus and a Radruner.  He know's it might not fit but will try it anyways.  Guess we'll find out.

I've just read Rad Power will sell you the Radrunner Plus suspension fork for $150.  Might be worth looking into for anyone wanting to do that mod.

Can't you just put a piece of tape over the connector pin that controls the speed limit?  I did it for my Radrunner and it works.
