Good quality for the price.  Just make sure you put flat protection in the tires/tubes because they are not fun to push.

I regularly see lightly used Rad bikes priced at around 50% of their new price on Craigslist. I wouldn't pay more than that since they have wear and tear, no warranty and the possibility of not being able to get replacement parts from Rad.

It says it excludes fat tires.  I seriously doubt the liner would hold up with the weight of the bike and rider on it for any length of time.

Yep they get pretty hot.

RadRunner / Re: RadRunner Plus flatout?

Flatout isn't actually marketed for bicycle tires for some reason, not sure why.  Bolton did test it in a bicycle tire though and it held up well.

I own a Radrunner and a Rad Mini ST.  The way I look at it is the Rad Mini ST is a folding version of a RadRunner Plus for a better price.

I didn't get that one because the reach is not really adjustable but may be suitable for other people.

You will have to get creative to make some shims for the lcd display brackets since it isn't the same size.

It will get stolen if left outside even if locked.  It folds so try to find a spot inside for it.  If you still decide to leave it outside, take the battery inside. Use some sort of bike alarm on the bike and use a minimum of 3 locks(U locks, hardened heavy chains with strong locks) Don't use cable locks other than for the cover.  You might even want to take the front wheel inside.  Also leaving the bike outside in a coastal environment could cause rust on it.  Good luck.

Not the best angles to see the handlebars but that's what I had on hand.

I replaced my stock handlebars with 5" riser handlebars that I can adjust back or forwards to my liking.  They have worked out quite well for myself.

The light will be in the same direction as the mount, there is no rotation in that direction.  There is an angle adjustment to aim it up or down(in the vertical position).

You can mount horizontally but the light diffuser will be pointed up and down instead of left and right.  Keeping it mounted vertically will help spread the light side to side for more visibility.

I use a Cygolite Hypershot 250 Lumen taillight for each of my bikes.  I can't say enough good things about them!  They are super bright for daytime visibility, multiple flashing modes, adjustable flash speed, usb rechargeable and made in the USA!  Make sure you know if you need the hard mount or soft mount before ordering.

I also use a cygolite Zot 450 lumen headlight for flashing daylight visibility.
