Title: Changing seat on RadRunner Plus
Post by: Calson on April 24, 2021, 04:43:16 PM
With the eventual purchase of the presently out of stock RadRunner Plus I know that I will be removing the rear passenger seat and installing something like the Wald Sports folding rear basket in its place. This will allow for replacing the seat with a Brooks "Cambium" C19 carved saddle.

Can anyone tell me whether the seat post also needs to be replaced and suggest a good one to buy?

Thanks

There's no means to separate the stock seat post from the seat, so you'll need a 27.2mm seat post. Look for a layback seat post if you want to move the saddle back a little.

Would you happen to know if the post size is the same for the basic RadRunner ?

Yes.  27.2mm for RadRunner 1.

I just wanted something cheap which would let me use a different seat, and for $25 I've been happy with this one:
