Title: Longer mudguards for RadRhino & RadRover?
Post by: fin_rad on March 04, 2021, 02:44:21 AM
I would like to have longer mudguards for my RadRhino. Especially to the front. When snowing and/or there is plenty of soft snow, front tire will throw it around covering the headlight after a while. Same thing with mud. I also would like more classic look since I don't drive that far off the road. ;)

Has anyone found bigger / longer mudguards for this Rad model? (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210304/db2cdcf17013e54c289a2961bae9c6d4.jpg)

Wider and longer? Not sure if wider fenders are available but as far as longer goes, you could always get some rubber flaps and possibly rivet/screw them in place. I haven't done it myself just tossing out ideas.

In the link it shows it tied to the forks but I don't see why you would be able to mount it to the fender...You'd have to modify the fender of course.

I'm interested in the same thing. On the RadMini, the mud hits the controller directly.

This one might be useful, though a bit narrow:

And they make an extra long version, but the top is skinny at 2.53 inches at top. The bottom is 4.55 inches wide:

I also found a single bolt mud flap, but am waiting for the dimensions.

This one is a motorcycle mud flap and is probably too wide, but can be cut down to size:
