We have the Pinhead system on our RW4 and my partners mountain bike. However we use chains and locks for security while parking our bikes. The Pinhead system helps to keep our wheels, seat and handlebars on our bikes while parked. I haven't been able to purchase the Ulock Pinhead uses. The Lockpicking lawyer says it is very difficult to pick but, of course, it would fall prey to an angle grinder in a few seconds.

That new primer looks great. Kind of military looking. LOL
I will need to keep that in mind if I ever want to change the colour of my RW4. I think it makes the bike stand out. I will wait patiently to see the bike once you've put it back together.

rjp, thank you for the correction. I was wrong. I went to the Rad web site but they don't list the Mission any more but the City is definitely a 7 speed.I guess I should have done that before I made my first post. My bad. :-(

I don't see a way to make a comment for the poll so I guess commenting here will be OK.
The Rad City is single speed, I believe. Not a lot of people choose a single speed even in an ebike. I dunno, I could be wrong but it's just my thoughts.

I agree with the first comments of JimInPT and Water Doc. Rad bikes are good (especially for their price) but they definitely need to upgrade their part system and their customer service. In order to stay ahead of advances other bike companies are demonstrating they also will need to upgrade the components included on the bikes when purchased.
Thus far I haven't had a complaint about their customer service but the part system has been lacking a lot lately. Probably mainly due to supply chain issues but, I have noted, MANY complain about their bikes being unusable due to parts shortages.
Having said that, I bought my RW4 because of the price and the reputation of Rad. I have upgraded a few things as time moves along and am going to continue to upgrade. I would have loved to buy a more expensive bike, like the Blix Packa, for example. But a starting price of $8000.00 for a bicycle? No way I could justify that kind of expense. As time goes on I can and will, upgrade my RW4 so it is every bit as capable as the Blix Packa. Basically I can buy a Rad bike and upgrade it slowly over time rather than initially buy a very expensive bike. I can afford one but not the other. I'm probably not unique and Rad needs to be aware of that mindset and act accordingly.

Ag4go, nice repair. Making "it" work and making it look acceptable is difficult at times. You've done nice work. Congratulations.

BeachWagon, that's a good site you referenced. I spent a bit of time there looking around. Nice. Thank you.

Eric7, I think you are right. I believe the price is an introductory price and it will be raised soon. $2400 USD for an electric trike is a good price. It looks well made and I wonder what trike accessories will be available for it. Although I don't want one, and I'm in Canada and it's not listed here yet, I'm looking forward to Ryan's evaluation.

Hitting a horse is almost like hitting a moose. It's such good fortune none of them came inside through the front window.

I've seen two other RW4's that have modifications so standard size bags can be mounted. Or at least bags mounted with standard sized hooks anyway. I don't want to make the system wider in order to mount the bags along with the basket. However I am also eventually planning on getting a U lock. BeachWagon, perhaps your idea of raising the basket enough to enable the Ballard Bags to be mounted could also be designed in such a way that the U lock could be stored under the basket? Thank you for the suggestion, I'm going to look into it.

I never thought of velcro. That's a great idea. I could put one side of the velcro to the glue on the lights and put another on the cargo rack and the bike rack then just move the lights whenever needed.
Thank you for the idea.
