I bought an adjustable stem that lowered my handlebars and allowed me to adjust them further away. I'm 5''7" so the stock setup did not work.

I've done my share of upgrades including a 54 tooth front chainring and the EggRider for a bit more power and torque. My bike is also my car so I needed the extra oomph. I also ditched the pretty headlamp for one that actually works at night. I had to get an adjustable front stem so I could get the handlebars lower and a bit away from me. That did the trick.

I LOVE my Plus!!

As an owner and bike mechanic, that's a lot of questions. I'd say keep the main mechanics and main electrical stock until you ride it for 100 miles. Then decide if it works for you as is. Spare batteries are expensive but if this is your main transportation then that may be a wise investment.

Get a disk brake lock so the bike is immobilized when you aren't with it. A front and rear rack will be helpful if you are hauling things. The 6 Plus comes with lights that may work fine for you. If not order a brighter from light.
