Hi all,

I received my Radrunner Plus in November and due to a massive amount of rain and now snow, I have only been able to rack up 60 KM so far. I paid for the Rad assembly and delivery which means once I hit 150 KM, Rad mobile will come over and tune my bike for free. Being I live in very hilly West Vancouver, it wasn't long before I realized I needed the 35A Controller upgrade which I just received.

Question is: Should I install the controller now or should i wait until after Rad does the 150KM tuneup? I read posts that seem to suggest that once you upgrade, it voids the warranty.

Would love to hear your thoughts.

RadRunner / My New Radrunner Plus
October 29, 2021, 11:11:13 PM
Just added a few accessories to my new Radrunner Plus.

Hurtle (HURSHL18) Wireless Helmet controller for turn signals
SPIRIT BEAST Handlebar Mount Motorcycle Clock
Motorcycle Phone Mount Wireless Charger 15W and USB-C Input/Output
Bicycle Handlebar Extender 30cm Carbon Fibre
ROMOSS 20000mAh Power (PSN20) Bank PD QC3.0 USB-C Fast Charging Portable Battery Charger
Backey Universal Bicycle Handlebar Phone Holder (for powerbank)
Motorcycle Universal Helmet Lock
Motorbike/Bicycle Anti-Theft Alarm, waterproof, 113db
1859 North West - Galaxy Black e-Bike Thumb Throttle

Note that I moved the controller display to the new handlebar extender to raise it up higher.
Also, I zip tied the stock bundle of cables to the base of the handlebar.

Did 22KM in extremely hilly West Vancouver and only lost one bar. Loving this bike!

General Chat / RAD assembly and delivery vs VeloFix
October 04, 2021, 10:57:27 PM
I ordered my Rad Runner Plus and selected RAD installation and delivery (I live in West Vancouver). They also had an option for VeloFix assembly and delivery.
Does anyone know what the difference is? Is it worth going with the extra $49 for VeloFix?

Thanks,
Ray

I have a Rad Runner Plus and I've been searching but cannot seem to find a decent wireless phone charger that comes with a handlebar bracket. Don't like plugging a cable into my iPhone 11 every time I go out. I have a really nice one that auto clamps when it detects a phone and use it in my car, but the company doesn't sell a version with a proper bracket for a bike. Other models I found would work great except they are meant for motorcycles with 12v terminals. I plan to mount a small USB power bank to power a couple of items including the phone as I would prefer not to use the USB port of the controller and affect my distance, plus I don't think there's enough amps to keep a phone going.

Any help would be appreciated.
