RadWagon / Re: Bolton Ebikes 35amp controller

I have the late 2018 model of Radwagon (w/ front derailleur) I have over 6500 miles when my original controller gave up the ghost.

I just installed my kit last week https://www.radowners.com/index.php?topic=138.msg10629#msg10629

Pretty straightforward install aside from programming the controller with the new motor. I am using the original battery with good results. My commute is only 6 - 18 miles each way in Seattle Washington depending on the route and I'm pretty conservative on the power usage without using the throttle at all during the ride. I also charge the battery when I'm at work.

I carry just about everything on my Radwagon, including tools. Large Panniers work well and if you can get rocket mortar cans online (like ammo cans but bigger) They fit on the side boards pretty well and they seal up from the elements. I actually have a Plano heavy duty tote for the top plate for the larger stuff and I carry small cargo bungee cord netting to keep everything in place.

Finally got the BoltOn/Area 13 rad upgrade kit with 1500W motor installed and configured on my 2018 Radwagon. I had to replace the PAS sensor so I had to change C1 value to 7 but if you use the stock sensor keep it at 1. The following are the settings I successfully used using stock battery;

LIM: 72
DIM: 26
UNT: 3
P1: 46
P2: 6
P3: 1
P4: 0
P5:15
C1: 7 (1 for OEM sensor)
C2: 0
C3: 1
C4: 0
C5: 06
C6: 3
C7: 1
C8: 0
C9: 0
C10: N
C11: 0
C12: 4
C13: 0 (this is for regen braking. I havent played with this too much but Bolton tech said the DD motor does not regen. Your results may vary 0= OFF)
C14: 2
L1:0
L2:0
L3:1
L4:5
