Title: Can you switch the cadence to a torque pedal assist on Rad City 5 Plus HS?
Post by: FL-GK on April 11, 2022, 06:31:11 AM
Now that I'm up to several hundred miles I think this would be better and allow for much more "rider assist" - LOL pun intended.

What do others think, anyone done this?

I should go ride a e-bike with torque too, it's been a while.

It's not going to be as simple as replacing a sensor. You'd need a controller and possibly motor as well.

Thanks, I was wondering about the controller (and motor, but probably to a lesser extent since the cadence sensor appears to be externally mounted).

Oh well, at least I can just enjoy what I have, one less thing to think about upgrading!
