how,   The Electro Bike World's ad, under Rad Power upgrades shows a  picture of the two different internal motors sizes. Is the one labeled new, look like the motor you got from Area 13?

how, keep us posted on kyle's answer and all info you run into on this subject. I was just about to pull the trigger on the same motor, but after hearing your outcome I think I'll just install new motor gears in the original motor. I've got over 10000 miles on my motor and I'm getting nervous about the condition of the internal plastic motor gears. I was going to buy the new motor so I got a new set of gears, but the new replacement motor from Area 13 doesn't even come with new gears or the outer motor case. The ad from Electro Bike World reads. Our newest version of the 750w motor will have a smaller inner core than our previous version to maximize efficiency, weight reduction and will have more copper winding to produce the same power as our previous version. I think their motor is a complete motor and includes a 14-28 tooth freewheel. I haven't seen anyone post any info on this motor power yet.

Now I understand what your trying to do. I thought you had 2 rad batteries like I have, only I have the older style bike and older batteries. I hope someone can help you out. Good Luck!

For me after riding long enough to exhaust the first battery, it feels good to stop get off the bike and exchange the battery positions. Then remount and enjoy the ride. Alot less cost and good on my body to stretch some different muscles. I'm not trying to set a time record just enjoying the time outside.

I'm referring to the parts below the hinge. I changed my words in my previous post. Stem clamp not handle bar clamp.    https://youtu.be/Hc2FLCRAKn8    On 4:23 of this vedio the part they are saying is plastic, I believe it's aluminum or is it plastic. If it is plastic I would also have a bad feeling about being safe.

Correct me if I'm wrong. There is a bolt going down into a star nut, inside the fork tube and the pinch bolt is threaded into an aluminum stem clamp not plastic, Right?

TheWillieDee I'm going to shorten that up to TWD hope you don't mind. TWD I see your post title states you have a suspension seat post. I'm thinking you must have a cantilever suspension post, which moves the seat  back as it takes up the shock from bumps in the rode. If that's true you have a couple ways to remedy your problem. Either move the basket back or try a suspension seat post that collapses inline. inside the post. Oh yea or get taller :-\   Looks like Si1Dia's basket mount would work good.

General Chat / Re: tire pressure and rolling resistance
October 23, 2022, 07:17:14 PM
Comfort and ease of operation is why I got an ebike. If riding efficiently, to be able to get to your destination is necessary. I'd make sure I have a big enough battery to get there easily to make the ride more enjoyable.  I hate range anxiety!  I also like a smooth ride, so front and seat suspension is key. Tire pressure and rolling resistance goes back to the bigger battery again. But sometimes you need to lower tire pressure to float, like in soft sand and then you use battery a lot faster. It all depends where your riding and if it's up or down hill and with or into the wind. Ride on everyone!!! :)

Heat them up with a heat gun, then they will pull off in one piece.

I'm in, Tannus sucks not worth the money. Flat out and Mr Tuffy for me. ;D Over 10,000 miles only had 3 flats, all with Tannus.

Service & Repair / Re: Flat out vs slime for punctures
October 19, 2022, 05:23:03 PM
Flat out lasts for 10 years and slime says it stays liquid 2 years. Flat out cleans up easy with water, slime is hard to clean up after a leak. Leaves a green slimy mess.

RadRover / Re: Rear rack alternative?
October 19, 2022, 09:16:46 AM
The Ibera rack IB-RA5 will fit on the 6+ but you have to order the right one. You need to order the one that fits a bike with disc brakes. Also the 2 front mounting rods need to be lengthened so if you don't have a shop that can do that for you or you have no way to do that, it's not a rack for you.  The rods that come with the rack are 9" long,  Ibera sells longer rods that are 11" long, but that's not long enough to make the rack sit level on the 6+ST bike. I'll get a measurement of the length needed and post it here later.  14.5" length for front mounting rods for 6+ST I don't know if it's the same for the 6+ high bar.
