Since it is just a 500w motor I felt safer limiting it  1.25 to be about 1200w (mine is a 30a kt sinewave where the upgrade is 35a) as to noise, mine sounds about the same as stock, I really don't know aything about the 25a upgrade kit other than it is marketed as a Rad power bikes upgrade so it should work. I just got a kt sinewave controller from the kunteng ebike factory store on Aliexpress and a adapter cables for the battery from big game bikes, Electro bike world also has them and adapted that instead of using the upgrade kit, only saved about $50 going that way and does require more work. On my DIY bafang 750w rear hub fatbike I run a identical controller not limited.

Yes it is the "bolton upgrade" all the 35a upgrade controllers are the same, they are just specially manufactured kt controllers to work with the stock wiring harness of Rad power bikes

The 35a Upgrade works on missions (do need to limit output with c5 setting) or even the 25a from electroworld should work since you really don't want more than about 24a max output. I went different and installed a 30A kt sinewave controller which did require replacing main wire harness with a 1 to 5 cable (if you want to use the stock brake sensors you need one for 2 pin brajes, can be found on Aliexpress, but do not seem to be on amazon) I added a second set of brake sensors and custom wired the stock brake sensors for brake lights, I also had to use a adapter cable for battery and used an extension cable for Pas to allow me to mount my controller on the top tube. A link to someone who did the 35a upgrade on facebook is https://www.facebook.com/groups/629167654165317/permalink/1654203821661690

Looks like they must have took it out on the EU version my US version (both of) I got last month it was setting 2 but I also have 4 settings and you only have 3  so your 2 and 3 is my 3 and 4.

I used a lighter to heat the sticker (don't have a heat gun) got a corner loose with fingernail then used pliers to peel it the rest of the way off then used lighter fluid (goof off or other petroleum based solvent would work) to remove the sticky adhesive.

Expensive as hell but one way to get a 3 speed front gearing is the Efneo Gtro gearbox which mounts in place of the crank but at 499$ its the same price I paid for my mission

since Mtatkow has not been active since March 10, 2022 I doubt he will answer but I would love to know more on adding a derailleur and gears too

though if you want to use a torque wrench you can use a Pedal Wrench Crow Foot and a torque wrench (a bigger 1 then you would use for most other things on the bike except wheel bolt) set to 26 ft lb and for the right pedal have the torque wrench facing the opposite way then normal (where the drive is facing you so that the torque wrench thinks it is tightening not loosening if you wrench is like mine and only clicks for tightening)

I am also trying to decide what to get but if you enter emergency bike repair kit in Amazon there are lots, many around $20 and easily carried on a bike.

That is my guess (would explain why they would call it the Radmission1) also maybe a Rover 7 and looking back at their 21 black Friday sale they were discounting the soon to be discontinued models to make room for the new so I am just glad I grabbed 2 Radmisssions at 499 each and after contemplating the upgrade display I got 2 yesterday morning and they were out of stock by evening.

Thanks for your reply, I was probably overthinking it I remember when I was into rc racing my charger always  got hot with no problems but that was 30 years ago and NiCad but similar principle< and I know that with an adapter I would have to certain the polarity was right, though there are other chargers that wouldn't require adapter but if the stock one works why change it

I have read that it is common with the Rad Powers included charger to get hot while charging (I am still waiting for delivery of my 2 Radmissions so haven't seen how true this is) so I was wondering if the Luna cycle charger does not have this problem, also would I be correct in thinking a DC Power 5.5X2.1mm Male Barrel To XT60 Female No Wires Adapter would be what is needed to use the luna cycle charger on Rad batteries.

RadMission / RadMission discontinued?
October 10, 2022, 08:27:30 PM
Looks like the Radmission might be being discontinued I just looked on the Radpowerbikes website (USA) and see this message on the RadMission page "Sold out, this deal went fast and we will not be restocking this ebike" (I ordered 2 the first day of the sale) a bit of searching and I found a reddit thread from September where someone says a store associate told him the RadMission is being discontinued.

I am glad I jumped on this sale as quickly as I did, I see that the website now says "Sold out, this deal went fast and we will not be restocking this ebike" on the RadMission
